Mary began her art career in Europe in 1970, creating oil paintings, ink and charcoal sketches on her kitchen table. In 1986, she began a full time career in retail and her painting took a hiatus until retirement in 2008. Since then she has let her creative juices flow again, trying watercolor, acrylics, and pastels as new mediums.
Recently, Mary has experimented painting through sand and finds the technique opens up a whole new world under the sea.
