Deloris Packard grew up in Harcourt Ontario, a small town located at the bottom tip of Algonquin Provincial Park. The youngest of eight children, she was raised on a small hobby farm where she developed a great love for animals.
Deloris earned a diploma in Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Management. She spent many summers working in various restaurants, lodges and resorts, in and around the Haliburton Highlands. Deloris has worked in many different places, and has learned every position, in the business. She has owned and operated her own restaurant, in cottage country.
With her vast experience in the hospitality industry, she has written her stories from the inside perspective. Reading her stories you will feel like you are on holidays, and invited inside, to the back kitchen table.
