This class is back by popular demand! Make a 12" diameter fused glass bowl that will be food-safe. Start with a circle of clear glass, then add layers of colour to create your own design. Create a picture, landscape, portrait, or abstract design. I will have many examples from past classes to share.
You have the option of making a plate, bowl, or a flat piece: they all start with the same clear circle. We will talk about your design options for each type of finished project. We will also spend plenty of time practicing glass cutting prior to working on our final project. This class is perfect for beginners, or those of you with some glass experience.
Glass will be assembled on the day of class, then fired in my kiln. The finished pieces will be ready for pick up in about a week. The class fee includes everything: all glass, use of tools and equipment, kiln firings, and finishing.
